This project was to make a book cover for one of Ray Bradbury’s short stories. To summarize the plot, the story revolves around a group of astronauts trapped on Venus– a planet so wet that the rain fall alone could drown a man– in this dreary nightmare of a planet the astronauts one hope is to find the warmth of a sun-dome. To represent this goal the cover is the rain-soaked helm of an astronaut with the shimmering reflection of a sun.
